In 2020, ‘GLOBAL GOAL LIVE’ FESTIVAL, was cancelled!
The pandemic swept the globe and put a stop to everything we held dear.
RESULT
After careful planning Global Citizen laid the foundations for a new festival.
The 2021 Global Citizen Live Festival was created.

DEFEAT POVERTY
The initial GC Global Goals: Gender Equality, Human Capital and Sustainability were transformed due to the pandemic and therefore Global Citizen has to refocus the call to action which became: Defend the Planet and Defeat Poverty
