BRIEF

In 2016 as part of Viacoms growing network of channel acquisitions and as head of the Channel 5 design and strategy team the project was for an entire rebrand of Channel 5, 5USA, 5STAR, 5Spike and My5.​​

The rebrand launched on Channel 5 on 9th February 2016, which included a new logo and on-screen treatments for each of 5’s channels – Channel 5, 5USA and 5Star.

The New My5 Logo

Our online service 'Demand 5' was renamed to 'My5' as we wanted a new logo. Again co-designed by the in-house team and Los Angeles agency 'Troika'.

5 Idents

The idents draw on the idea of 5 making everyday life better with a series of short films which each feature a moment of surprise; from a group of five whales emerging from the sea, to five tropical birds appearing on a balcony.
